4th March 2019 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: 30-0 Knots Surf / Sea State: 3 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 8ºC Sea Temperature: 9ºC Weather: Hail and Sunny Spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: A waste of time really. Waited all day for the wind to fill in and once it was up to 30 knots headed over to the beach with a 5m sail and big wave board. Once on the water it dropped off to nothing and I couldn't get going. Then a hailstorm came through and brought some wind with it. Trouble was the hail stones were far to painful to sail in and I couldn't see a thing so had to sit it out in the shallows. The wind then doed complete, not even a slight breeze so I walked back and started to pack up. As I did it picked up again so I headed back in for round two. One or two slightly under-powered runs and then the wind dropped off again. Stupid sport! |
